note: this is under construction. i may keep it all in this one essay, i may split this up into a couple. i do not know. it is definitely in the construction stage!

"I had to wonder, how can having a child be so wrong for some people that they will pay me to end its life?”
– former abortionist Dr. McMillan

abortion

is it about "freedom of choice?" "a woman's right to choose?" "reproductive rights?"

it is time to wake up. these terms, along with the most well known one, "pro-choice" is political spin created by dr. bernard nathanson, one of the original founders of NARAL. he has since become against abortion, and has stated the following as to how permissive abortion was legalised in the united states. "the first key tactic was to capture the media. we persuaded the media that the cause of permissive abortion was a liberal enlightened, sophisticated one." "the second key tactic was to play the catholic card." "THE THIRD KEY TACTIC WAS THE DENIGRATION AND SUPPRESSION OF ALL SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE THAT LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION."(e)

if you need more proof than some guy writing this on a webpage, and i highly recommend it- read "Aborting America" by Dr. Bernard Nathanson. read it for yourself, straight form the horses mouth.

the idea of "choice" being the factor in abortion is nothing but political spin, created to manipulate and sway the public, and it has been very effective. many caring and intelligent people have been affected by this spin, feeling that a woman ought to have the 'right' to kill her unborn child. it is 'her choice', her 'body', her 'right.' and to take this 'right' from her is to take away women's freedom.

there are a few problems with this belief. to begin with, how does living in a world where women feel that they have no choice when pregnant but to kill their own unborn child create equality or empower women? upon further analysis of this idea, you will find that it simply does not hold water.

it is not only her body we must consider. what about the body of the child inside? the moment the sperm enters the egg marks the beginning of a new biologically unique individual with 46 chromosomes- a new human being with all genetic programming to carry him/her from that moment to old age and death. if for some reason this is not enough for you- from 21 days conception onward, this being has a beating heart and a blood supply separate from the mother. and let us not overlook the obvious fact that half of the time, the baby is a different sex than the mother. clearly it is not only the woman's body that must be taken into account.

also, regarding the idea that it is 'her body' that is in question here- what is really in question, when it comes down to it, is the woman's body and what is going to be going on with her for 9 months. the other part of this is the child- and his or her body, for life- will this being be allowed to have a life or not. this is the real question of choice. this child has no choice, no voice, no say at all in the matter of if s/he gets to continue living.

in addition, there is another person all too often never considered- the father. this new individual being was created from the mother and the father. that child is one half the father. under current law, if a woman is pregnant and the man does not wish for a child, he will still be financially obligated to support one for 18 years. if a woman is pregnant with his child and he wants that child and she does not, he has absolutely no say in the matter., and becomes the father of a dead baby, having to live with and deal with all detrimental psychological effects that follow.

1 in 4 pregnancies in the united states end in death of the fetus through abortion. it is quite obviously being used a means of birth control.

legalised abortion is about money. nothing else.

it is not here to give women their 'reproductive rights.' it is not here to give women 'freedom of choice." nor make them "equal" to men in any way? again, how does a woman becoming the murderer of her own child make her equal? does she need to do so to be "equal" to a man? abortion is here and available in order to make money. "pro-choice" is an idea created to sway public view. it is not about a woman's freedom. it is flat-out about making money. planned parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the u.s., had an annual revenue of $462.5 million for 1994, and earned a net profit of $40 million from abortions in 1993. (f) the abortion industry makes over $500,000.000 a year. there are approximately 1.6 million abortions performed in the united states every year (g) approximately 91% of these are first trimester. taking into account the average cost of a first trimester abortion of $362.50 (h) and applying this to all of the abortions performed, we arrive at the underestimate (due to that we are not accounting for 2nd trimester costs which are much higher in cost) of $543,750,000 a year.

if we actually account for the 2nd trimesters and their higher average cost, we arrive at the figure of $712,538,225 revenue
per year in the united states alone.(i)

almost three quarters of a billion dollars each year! is abortion really about a woman's rights?

(all figures derived above were taken from united states abortion statistics from foxnews.com combined with the fee list from family planning associates.)

-

let's get to the basics.

either abortion is murder, or it is not.

murder n. the killing of a human being by a sane person, with intent, malice aforethought (prior intention to kill the victim)(a)

(this is in fact, the definition of first degree murder.)

is an unborn human child a human being?

if not? what is it?

human n. a member of the genus homo and especially of the species h. sapiens (b)

unless the unborn child is a different species, which s/he is not, s/he is human. someone might argue that the fetus is not yet human. again. if this is so, what is it?

when does human life begin? this question is easily answered. shall we ask the biologists and scientists?

"Fertilization is an important landmark because, under ordinary circumstances, a new, genetically distinct human organism is thereby formed." - Human Embryology & Teratology, Ronan R. O'Rahilly, Fabiola Muller, (New York: Wiley-Liss, 1996), 5-55

"It is incorrect to say that biological data cannot be decisive...It is scientifically correct to say that an individual human life begins at conception." - Professor Micheline Matthews-Roth Harvard University Medical School (c)

"I have learned from my earliest medical education that human life begins at the time of conception." - Dr. Alfred M. Bongioanni, Professor of Pediatrics and Obstetrics, University of Pennsylvania (c)

an unborn human child, without question, is a human. science is clear on this. pro-abortionists are not.

why then, is abortion not considered murder?

interestingly enough, refer again to our legal definition of murder, which concludes with this: "death of an unborn fetus can be murder, provided there was premeditation, malice, and no legal authority. Thus, abortion is not murder under the law."

in other words, abortion is NOT, by law, murder- ONLY because IT IS LEGAL!

without question, a human being is being killed. (i would argue if it is done by sane persons but....)

making an appointment is premeditation. malice is "the conscious intent to cause death or great bodily harm to another person before a person commits the crime." (same site) (also note the definition of "person" is "a human being")

certainly this conscious intent is present in a woman who keeps an appointment with an abortionist. certainly this conscious intent is present in the abortionist when he inserts a vacuum tube into a women's uterus.

"we must courageously face the fact - finally - that human life of a special order is being taken (in the process of abortion) and since the vast majority of pregnancies are carried successfully to term, abortion must be seen as the interruption of a process that would otherwise have produced a citizen of the world. denial of this reality is the crassest kind of moral evasiveness." - dr bernard nathanson, the hand of god, page 127

psychological effects

any man who thinks that women are in some way empowered by abortion has never been intimately involved with a woman who has had one. men- have you ever had a girlfriend who was inexplicably bitter and had strange outbursts of anger and bitterness directed at you? chances are she was post-abortive. of the women i have come close to in my life, abortion has had a far worse effect than even childhood molestation. the reason being for this is that in such cases, the victim was totally innocent- s/he had no choice in what was being done to him or her. this is not the case with those who through that mighty power of "choice" have ended the lives of their unborn child within their own bodies. even in cases of severe pressure and coercion, such a woman must still accept the fact that ultimately it was her choice- she had to sign consent papers.

changing a woman from being the protector of the unborn into the destroyer is NOT woman empowering. it destroys everything a woman is designed by nature to be- the protector and home for all new life. it makes her into the taker of life, rather than the provider and creator of life. it makes her body into a place of death rather than the temple of life. to sell the idea that is is female empowering for a woman to feel that her best choice is to kill her child, is the worst misogyny there is. it is the greatest patriarchal lie ever told.

abortion is the ending of an innocent life. if you disagree, ask a woman who has had one. abortion puts this ultra-violence into the most intimate, sacred place a woman has- her womb.

for a list of testimonies of post-abortive women, click here. this will give a better understanding of the psychological effects abortion has on a woman than anything else.

in addition to the woman, others are affected, as with any taking of life. the effects that abortion has on the father of the child are finally being acknowledged and recognised. here is what i have gone through and still go through:

i feel more anger than i have ever known in my life. everything wrong that was ever done to me absolutely pales in comparison to the point that i do not even recall it anymore. i weep uncontrollably basically at least once a day, every day. my mind is torn by thoughts of what was meant to be being taken forever irrevocably from me and the universe. my mind has become tainted- it enters into dark places filled with anger, hatred, thoughts of revenge and so on. i have never known this state prior to the abortion. helplessness. powerlessness. my self-esteem has been shattered. i think of why this girl has 2 children from different fathers and not mine- as if i am somehow inferior. logic overrules this, but it is still on some deep level- present. i wake up and have to face the fact every day that the reality i live in is one where the woman i love killed our child. my baby is dead. our life, and our love, our story- is shattered.

(more coming)

legal abortion allows and encourages irresponsible sexual behaviour, and is against nature.

before abortion was legal in the united states, there were 2 choices if a pregnancy occured- raising the child, or adoption. because of the possibility of raising a child being in the future was present everytime sex was engaged in, couples who were not ready to do so either abstained from sex, or used birth control. the same would be true today. if abortion is not legal, people will be re-aquainted with the reality that sex can produce a child, and therefore will be far less likely to engage in sex with someone they are not willing to raise a child with. abortion is all too often presently used as an escape route for irresponsible behaviour.

legal, elective abortion in our societal consciousness- separates sex from the creation of new life, and is therefore wholly unnatural.

lies

abortion clinic workers lie to women. they will tell them there is no heartbeat when there is. they will refer to the baby as "just a clump of cells." they are taught to say whatever is necessary to make the woman go through with the abortion. it is a business. they are taught to sell abortion. it is their job.

take a look at the family planning associates abortion services page: "IN SURGERY a licensed CRNA will administer anesthesia and a licensed medical doctor specializing in gynecology will perform the abortion by gently removing the contents of the uterus by vacuum aspiration."

your baby is referred to as "the contents of the uterus." along similar lines, when we drop bombs on buildings, let us refer to the people therein as "the contents of the building." terminology like this is a lie. it is deceptive and sways the mind of the women away from the fact that the 'contents of the uterus' is a living human being with a beating heart- her baby.

take a look at family planning's main page.. check out the pretty calming blue colours with the words "peace" (3x), "tranquility", "relax"...programming to make women feel comfortable with something they inherently know to be wrong?

who designed this page? in the lower right part of the image, click on "design credits" which will lead you here. to consultel, inc. quote "ConsulTel, Inc. is currently the exclusive graphic design partner for ACOL and ClinicPages. ACOL and ClinicPages are professional Internet directories listing over 500 health clinics and support organizations worldwide. Primarily focussed on women's health and resources for women."

indeed. one company does the web design for most of the abortion providers. amazing, is it not? take a look at the gallery. notice any similarities on the pages? "peace, safety, comfort, private, confidential, safe" and so forth. whatever it takes to make a woman feel okay enough about something she knows is wrong so that they go through with it and pay their money.

this is an advertising company, paid to sell abortion.

"confidential" in other words, nobody needs to know. why this concern? because women know that what they are about to do is wrong. people do not tend to hide things they feel good about doing.

why the need to place such words and convey these ideas of comfort and peace? if abortion is something that is okay, why?

because they know that very few women are at that site feeling happy and good about what they are considering doing. almost every one of them is scared and feels it is wrong. they do their best to convince them otherwise. they are good at what they do, considering how many women feel they were misled afterward.

some may say it is because she is scared about her pregnancy, not knowing what to do and so forth. sure, bound to be the case many times. how about making her feel okay about her pregnancy rather than attempting to make her feel okay about killing her child?

why does a woman ever feel scared about being pregnant? because our society has failed us, plain and simple.

more deception:

here is an excerpt from dr. tiller's site. as stated there "At Women's Health Care Services, we specialize in "late" abortion care."

on the elective late term procedure page, we read the following::

"When your cervix is opened adequately, labor will be induced with naturally occurring hormones, and you will have your abortion under "twilight" sedation. With twilight anesthesia for the labor and delivery most patients do not remember much about the process. Generous amounts of medication are administered during the labor to relieve discomfort. On the first day of the abortion, an injection of a medication is made into the fetus to assure that it will be stillborn and will not experience any discomfort during the procedure. After the delivery, all patients receive a D&C and are usually able to travel the next morning."

why "twilight" sedation? it might be because to remember lying there on a table while your baby dies inside you could be psychologically harmful, but i could be mistaken., note the "generous amounts."

note the wording here: "an injection of a medication is made into the fetus to assure that it will be stillborn and will not experience any discomfort during the procedure"

translate the first half as "an injection of poison is made into the baby to assure that she will die." because that is what is actually happening.

i like the second half a lot. "will not experience any discomfort during the procedure." great. the baby will still be dead. i think i say this somewhere else on this page, but if someone stated "i am going to kill you, would you prefer it be painless?" i think any sane person would answer "i would prefer you not kill me."

"choice"

the most common reason for keeping abortion legal that i hear is: "i would never have an abortion, but i do not think it is up to me to tell others what to do."

a fine position, until you examine it.

i could state "i will never murder anyone, but i do not think it is up to me to tell others what to do."

these are in fact, the same statements.

there are plenty of things that some of us might never do, yet we certainly feel we need to tell others what to do. with this logic presented here, we ought to legalise murder, rape, arson and everything else. after all, we do not want to impose our morals on others or take away their freedoms!

my personal favourite, because it was actually used as defense in recent history:

"don't like abortion? don't have one."

okay.

"don't like slavery? don't own slaves."

the slave owners would say "don't try to interfere with my right to own slaves." just like today: "do not try to interfere with my right to have an abortion."

remember that over half of women who have abortions felt pressured to do so. sometimes it is the boyfriend insisting that she to do it or he is leaving her sometimes it is parents telling their daughter if she does not have the abortion, they will kick her out of the home. sometimes it is a 'friend' telling the woman that she does not want a child right now, it will interfere with her life. whatever it is- over half of all women who have abortions did not want them, but felt pressured into it. in addition to this clearly not being a matter of choice for the woman, legal abortion encourages men to be sexually irresponsible, and manipulative. (of course, he will almost inevitably eventually lose that woman). a man is legally financially responsible for his child for 18 years if that child is born. for under $400 he can alleviate himself of all such responsibility. abortion brings out the worst in men.

legal elective abortion allows a society where women are pressured, manipulated, and feared- into becoming the murderers of their own children.

part of this is the lies. most women in the united states, or anywhere in the world for that matter, do not have a basic knowledge of embryology, nor even biology. we are not taught, as a society- that the fetus is a living human being. unfortunately, i have noticed that some times those who do- are the same who take the position of 'i would never, but.' this is the result of early abortion propaganda promoting abortion as being about freedom, the whole idea that there should even be a question of 'choice' to begin with.

ask yourself "why is it legal to kill a child in the womb? why is this okay?"

as soon as the baby is outside of the womb, nobody sees it as 'okay' to kill the child.

take this situation into account, and nothing reveals to me the illogic of abortion than this:

a physician can poison, disfigure and maim an unborn baby thru a saline abortion. if the baby is born alive, the physician is required by law to do everything in their power to save the infant. if the doctor kills the now born baby, he can be charged with murder. this actually occured in 1983.

"there is simply no magic that somehow changes the nature and value of a child just because he has moved from inside his mother to outside." (j)

why is it that we shudder at babies found in dumpsters- see this as ultimately horrible and ask "how could anyone do such a thing?" but yet accept that it is legal to kill that same child, so long as s/he is inside the mother at the time? we hear of babies abandoned in trashcans and shudder in horror, but support killing that same child by tearing her apart in the womb.

legal abortion makes it possible for women who have no true wish to kill their children, to do so, and it happens. every day.

fact: 1 in 4 pregnancies in america ends in abortion. (1)

fact: newborn children are sometimes found in dumpsters, either dead or alive.

1 in 4 women will NOT leave their newborn baby to die.

therefore, less deaths will occur if abortion is made illegal.

a question i ask is why is it we, as a society- shudder in horror when a woman leaves her baby to die in a dumpster but would have no problems if she killed the child in her womb?

it is murder, of course, to leave a newborn child to die. any woman wishing to do this, as an alternative can have her child killed legally the day prior to birth by any abortion provider who does late term abortions. this is legal. if you are "pro-choice" you support this.

(note: anomymous newborn drop-off stations have been implemented across the country in at least 47 of the states..(2) this allows the parent of a newborn to drop-off the child at a desiganted center (usually a hospital or fire station) with no questions asked. )

in my case, the mother had every wish to keep her child. she has to live every single day with the fact that her baby is dead. it should not be legal to create this reality. this reality, this life- the mindstate that follows, is destructive and harmful.

her head was unclear at the time, and the only people she felt safe enough to tell of her pregnancy were in full support of abortion. she did not feel safe enough to tell me due primarily to the constant fear injected into her from a man she had known for 10 months and come to trust to some degree. she had only known me for 1 month at the time. if we lived in a society where abortion was not a easily attained legal possibility, the words of men who made her afraid would have had no effect. she would have had to eventually come to me and tell me she was pregnant. we would have our child today, and all 3 of us would be in a far far better state of mind and emotional well-being..

during the first month of pregnancy, many women become depressed, disoriented or confused as the new life inside them draws the most important constituents of the blood into herself to create the body. this is common enough that an entire website has been created for it. (3) and many studies done.

this depression can cause them to behave in irrational ways, up to and including choosing to have an abortion. this possibility is especially so when there is outside pressure for her to abort. once they make this 'choice' however, it is too late. the woman has to live the rest of her with the fact that she ended the life of her child, one she very well may have wanted to have. her quality of life is forever irrevocably changed, far for the worse. the fact is, that if abortion were not legal and readily accessible, this simply would not be possible. legal abortion ruins more women's lives everyday than any other single factor.

many women are pressured into abortion.

a great number of women do not want an abortion on their own, they know in their hearts it is wrong, but due to overwhelming strong influence of boyfriend, parents, 'friends' or others, they are convinced that abortion is the best thing to do, or in fact, they never feel remotely right about it, but still go throught with it. these women are second only to nonconsenting/uinknowing fathers as being the most innocent of all victims of abortion (with the exception of the child who is killed, of course).  the fact is, if abortion is not legal, these women would be unaffected by these pressures. they would simply have no value and no effect.

lack of education

simply put, many people, women and men alike, do not understand that abortion is the taking of life of a biologically unique individual. they have not been educated on fetal development, nor the simple biological facts of . in addition to this, they are surrounded by a society that tells them this is okay. "if it were ultimately wrong, why is it legal? it is a 'tough decision' to make, but many feel it is the best" the so-called 'counselors' at the abortion clinic are of no help. their job is to sell abortions, to convince the women that abortion is the best decision to make. they are not there to protect her or anyone or anything other than business interests.

what if regular old murder were legal?

think about it. have you ever become angry and done or wanted to do something that you know you will regret later? what stops you? what is murder were legal? how many more a day would occur? while certainly many people who wish to commit murder are not too concerned with its legality, it is fair to say that a great many are concerned and this is the main thing that stops them from taking this action- knowing the great likelihood of many years of one's life in prison being ahead of them.

abortion "clinics" are in it for the money, nothing else

recently south dakota enacted a law (4) making it illegal to have or perform an abortion in the state for any reason other than a definite risk to the mother (such as a tubal pregnancy). who is the main opponent of this law? Planned Parenthood. "Last year, South Dakota passed five laws to restrict abortions, including one that would compel doctors to tell women that they would be ending the life of a "whole, separate, unique human being." That law has been blocked by a lawsuit filed by Planned Parenthood."(5) ask yourself: why are they doing this? is it to protect the rights of women? or is it because they have a serious financial stake in the matter? About 800 abortions are performed each year in South Dakota, which has a population of 770,000 spread out over 77,000 square miles.(6) the minimal cost for a first trimester abortion is about $450. this means that due to this new law, planned parenthood will be losing $360,000 in revenue each year in south dakota alone, and that figure is low, as not all abortions are first trimesters. it is more likely at least $500,000.

abortion disempowers women.

so many women, especially younger ones, feel pressured by others to abort, and once they do, feel weak that they did not stand up for what the knew was right. they let others sway them into killing their own child! women simply do not get abortions because they are in a place of freedom and choice. they get them because they feel they have no choice.

in the reardon study of 252 post abortive women (7) 54% of women felt forced by outside circumstances to have an abortion, and 53% felt forced by others into having an abortion. over half felt FORCED BY OTHERS! 21% were encouraged by parents, 33% by boyfriend, 27% by the abortion 'counselor' and 18% by friends. abortion is clearly not a choice made by an empowered woman, who feels she has the freedom of choice. when asked if her decision to abort would be any different had any or all of the above who encouraged her to abort had encouraged differently, 83% answered yes. this, i feel is the most revealing- over 3/4 of women who chose abortion would have not done so had they received counsel telling them anything other than to do it!

true power for women is a society where there is no pressure to NOT have a child, and she is not pressured by those around her to do something she does not wish to. woman's power is not found in having the "choice" to kill their own children. true feminists do not advovate abortion.

when asked if your self-image worsened or improved from the abortion- 93% answered "worsened."

is this something that is woman empowering? is this something that should be legal and accessible?

when asked if they would encourage a friend to have an abortion, 98% said NO.

will women seek illegal abortions? this same survey asks that very question. 6% answered yes. a whole 6%.

on this same survey, 82% answered that they did not feel their decision was well thought out, and 93% (that is almost ALL of them) did not feel that they had all of the necessary information to make the decision. when asked if they would ever have another abortion, 96% answered NO. 4% were unsure. is abortion something these women feel good about if 96% of women who aborted would never do it again?!

when asked if there were any negative psychological effects that they attribute to the abortion, 94% answered YES. 73% said these problems were severe. should something be legal and easily available if 94% of those who partake in it develop psychologocial problems because of it?! 3/4 of who consider them to be of severe nature! is this women empowering? should such a thing continue to be permissible by law?

when asked if they were given information about the biological nature of the fetus, 93% answered NO. in my personal experience, she was not given this information. when she asked if she could hear the heartbeat when they did the ultrasound, they told her there was none, which was not true. she was told 'it is just a little clump of cells.' even at the last minute she still did not feel right about what she was doing, but they kept selling her on it.

when asked "what was your opinion about the nature of the fetus": (before abortion)

4% had no answer. 26% answered "human." 30% answered "non-human", and 40% answered "other."

when asked "what is your opinion about the nature of the fetus"....

3% had no answer, and 97% answered "human."

nobody knows better than one who has taken life, what that life is.

this part i find of particular import to those who say that the legal status of abortion has nothing to do with how often women will want it. when asked "did the knowledge that abortion was legal influence your opinion about the morality of choosing abortion." 70% answered YES. clearly the fact that something is legal has a profound influence upon if it is perceived as okay or not by the people. because murder, theft, and other things are illegal, we know them to be wrong, and harmful. when something is legal, the average (and relatively uninformed) person uses legality as a guideline for what is right and wrong.

when asked "what were your feelings about abortion prior to becoming pregnant" 41% answered negative.

when asked "what are your feelings about abortion today?" 99% answered NEGATIVE. (1% did not answer)

i can say this: when i ask a group of people if a food dish is tasty, i am going to trust those who have tasted it.

abortion is the most unnatural act

if you disagree, please do tell how dilating the cervix then shoving a vacuum tube up it and sucking out the baby to kill him or her is natural. aside from the physical aspects of it, the more devastating unnaturalness is the psychological effects. a woman is designed by nature to be caretaker and creator of life. no animals ever induce abortions. some species on occasion will eat the newborn. this is either due to some sort of dangerous defect of the offspring, or chemical issues in the mother. it is hard-wired into every mammal to care for offspring, nurture and provide, until the children are ready to be on their own. for a woman to intentionally induce abortion is the most unnatural of acts, psychologically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.

it is also unnatural in that nothing is meant to ever enter the womb, save the seed. and nothing is meant to ever pass through the cervix other than the child created by that seed when it enters the egg. forcing a metal rod into the cervix to open it up and then inserting a plastic tube attached to a vacuum and sucking out the unborn child is as unnatural as we can get..

abortion kills 4,000 unborn children every day. it leaves behind a mother and a father who are very likely to be forever affected, the quality of their lives substantially lessened. if in fact, abortion is somehow 'good', something that saves women from stress and unwanted pregnancies, there are certainly better solutions. birth control education is a good start. abstinence from sex with anyone other than someone one is willing to raise a child with is another.

abortion without a doubt, is the intentional ending of the life of an unborn human being.

if it is not a baby, you are not pregnant.

if it is not alive, what is it?.

if it is not a human being, what kind of being is it?

"I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody who asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect. Similarly I will not give to a woman an abortive remedy. In purity and holiness I will guard my life and my art."

- from the classical hippocratic oath

"do not make us go back to coathangers" is like saying "don't make us go back to knives to kill people instead of guns."

the method is not what is in question here. the fact that the act itself is even considere acceptable is what needs to stop.

nobody is asking anybody to 'go back' to using coathangers to kill your unborn children. we are asking you to move forward into a consciousness where you do not wish to kill your unborn children, one where you recognise them for what they are- living beings with beating hearts, living within you. we are asking you to realise this without becoming a murderer to discover its truth. this realisation comes with the act, of course, along with more psychological damage than any other action you can or will ever take.

you are woman.

you are the creator and protector of all new life.

your womb is the intended to be the most safest and holiest of all places in the universe.

do not allow your world to be one where this is not so.

(a) http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/murder it is interesting to note that the end of this definition reads as follows "death of an unborn fetus can be murder, provided there was premeditation, malice, and no legal authority. Thus, abortion is not murder under the law. in other words, abortion is NOT murder ONLY because IT IS LEGAL.

(4) "Section 1. The Legislature accepts and concurs with the conclusion of the South Dakota Task Force to Study Abortion, based upon written materials, scientific studies, and testimony of witnesses presented to the task force, that life begins at the time of conception, a conclusion confirmed by scientific advances since the 1973 decision of Roe v. Wade, including the fact that each human being is totally unique immediately at fertilization. Moreover, the Legislature finds, based upon the conclusions of the South Dakota Task Force to Study Abortion, and in recognition of the technological advances and medical experience and body of knowledge about abortions produced and made available since the 1973 decision of Roe v. Wade, that to fully protect the rights, interests, and health of the pregnant mother, the rights, interest, and life of her unborn child, and the mother's fundamental natural intrinsic right to a relationship with her child, abortions in South Dakota should be prohibited. Moreover, the Legislature finds that the guarantee of due process of law under the Constitution of South Dakota applies equally to born and unborn human beings, and that under the Constitution of South Dakota, a pregnant mother and her unborn child, each possess a natural and inalienable right to life"   available at http://news.findlaw.com/nytimes/docs/abortion/sdabortionlaw06.html here is my question: are they mistaken about this?
